This companion app is used to securely sign in to the Tesla-API used by the wearable smartwatch app "DRIVE Electric for Tesla" on Samsung Galaxy Store. The app uses OAuth2-technology to sign in directly on Tesla authentication servers without the risk of sharing user credentials to any 3rd-party. The retrieved token is sent encrypted to the watch using the secure Samsung Accessory Protocol. This app is optional to use to conform to the new Tesla-API authentication method and to enhance the security of the wearable app.
